The FD-60 quickly dries fruits and vegetables efficiently, utilizing 500 watts of dehydrating power. The FD-61 operates at 1000 watts enabling you to dry more at one time. When it comes to dehydration, different foods require different temperatures. Both models are equipped with an adjustable thermostat, the Nesco FD60 Snack Master Express Food Dehydrator and FD-61 Snackmaster Encore Dehydrator allowing you to dry different foods at different temperatures (99F - 155F) for maximum flexibility producing desired results.

The Nesco FD-60 Snackmaster Express Food dehydrator comes with 4 trays and expandable up to 12 trays with the optional Add-A-Trays®. The Opaque Vita-Save® exterior protects foods from losing nutritional content while being dehydrated by blocking harmful light. The patented Converga-Flow® drying system forces air down the exterior of the pressurized chamber rather than through the trays. Provides an even and nutritious drying by forcing air horizontal across each individual tray. You never need to rotate trays and no mixing of flavors occurs.
The FD-61 Snackmaster® Encore Food Dehydrator dries 4 times faster than dehydrators that do not have a motor. The adjustable thermostat range is from 90-160 degrees giving you the flexibility to set temperatures specifically for the type of fruit or food that you are dehydrating. Like the Nesco FD 60 Snackmaster Express Food Dehydrator , the FD-61 features the Converga-Flow® technology, which deters flavor mixing and creates a fast and even nutritious drying system. This 4 tray fruit dehydrator also expands to meet your dehydrating needs. Add up to 20 trays providing a whopping 20 sq. ft. of drying area. The pressure of the dehydrator also adjusts automatically dependant upon how many trays you add.
